Black South Africans owe De Klerk nothing

IT HAS become fashionable to accord and heap all manner of praises, eulogies and felicitations on FW de Klerk for the so-called emancipation of our people with the unbanning of political parties and the release of political prisoners on February 2, 1990.

De Klerk has earned international acclaim and was bestowed with the much coveted Noble Peace prize.

Twenty years later, he still receives unending accolades for the “sterling role” that he played to free the Africans from bondage.

I wish to argue that we don’t owe De Klerk praise, nor accolades, nor any other form of expression of gratitude.

The apartheid regime was the most heinous and devious oppressive regime known to mankind.

The catalogue of its monstrous activities exceeded the atrocious bestial level of psychopaths, bandits and war criminals.

De Klerk’s so-called historical announcement on February 2, 1990, was an act of conceding defeat. His regime could no longer sustain the war that his forebears started in 1652.

The forces of progress were marching buoyant, determined to make the last and final stand against the racist regime that had been declared a crime against humanity by the United Nations.

The liberation of Mozambique left the apartheid regime shell-shocked since it meant new adversarial neighbours.

The liberation of Zimbabwe, through revolutionary means, ushered into power Zanu with the installation of a new flag and the return of the ancient name of Zimbabwe.

In a desperate attempt to forestall the inevitable, the apartheid regime sponsored insurgencies and bandits like Renamo and Unita but their efforts proved to have no effect.

Attempts to repel and destroy the Cuban forces from Angola proved futile.

In the air space of Angola the South African airpower of Impalas, Mirages and Cheetahs were a poor match for the ferocious might of the Cuban MiG23.

The sheer imposing sound of the Cuban aircraft sent apartheid soldiers screaming for their mothers. The buoyant and gallant forces of Umkhonto we Sizwe and the Cubans witnessed the desperate fleeing of apartheid soldiers with tails between their shaking legs.

Apartheid power surrendered and an armistice resulted in the UN sponsored Resolution 435 which paved the way for the independence of Namibia.

The apartheid regime was faced with immense challenges on virtually all fronts. At the home front it faced incessant labour unrest under the aegis of Cosatu and Nactu. Civil disobedience crippled the local government sector since the Vaal 1984 rent uprising.

International pressure was mounting with the impending hanging of the Sharpeville Six. Schools were rendered battle fields with clashes, led by groups like Cosas, between pupils and soldiers.

Azapo’s Muntu Myeza, Thami Mcwera, Lybon Mabaso and Ishmael Mkhabela gave the regime sleepless nights with lucid articles laced with Steve Biko’s ideologies, mass action and targeted boycotts.

The African ecumenical community, led by the feisty Desmond Tutu Archbishop Emeritus, and the African business community led by the pondering Nthato Motlana, gave the regime little rest.

The imposition of the State of Emergency escalated violence further.

On May 5, 1987, The Rand Daily Mail reported that in 1986 alone there were 76 hand grenade attacks, 64 limpet mine explosions, one RPG7 explosion, 12 landmine explosions and 76 cases recorded of the use of Russian AK47s.

The Azanian Peoples Liberation Army (Apla) had been reconstituted with new impetus by the arrival of Sabelo Phama in exile which saw fresh attacks launched.

In a desperate attempt to undercut the growing urban resistance and defiance, the regime sponsored vigilante groups but with no success.

The forces of progress were marching gallantly towards victory.

The people’s resistance was organised up to street level, with street committees and self-defence units manned by militant youth who responded to Oliver Tambo’s call to render the country ungovernable.

Economic sanctions, sports isolation, coupled with the ever-increasing militant activities of the mass democratic movement, left the regime gasping for air.

Faced with a country that was engulfed in a tumultuous urban warfare, the white community no longer trusted the regime with their future and safety.

Open defiance from the white populace increased which further erroded the Nationalists’ grip on power.

The insistence by Stellenbosch students to visit the ANC was embarrassing for the National Party.

An increase in the membership for the End Conscription Campaign, and increased militancy and the open defiance of conscientised white youth and white academics such as Sampie Terreblance against the futility of defending apartheid’s decadence, embarrassed the regime further.

Organised business was becoming apprehensive of operating in a volatile environment whose businesses were targets of attacks and mass looting.

It soon became a public relations disaster to justify or excuse apartheid. Apartheid was nearing its sell-by date and its decaying smell was evident to all.

The regime was no longer capable of defending itself. The regime began a process of gradual surrender to give an impression of bravery.

The government released a number of ANC and PAC prisoners from Robben Island in 1987, including Sello Matsobane, Zifozonke Tshikila and John Nkosi.

In November, 1987, it released Govan Mbeki and in 1988 Harry Gwala and Zeph Mothopeng were released. Soon Japhta Masemola and Walter Sisulu were also free.

De Klerk was buying time and accruing concessions especially from the international community which was beginning to ease sanctions.

The African people have earned their freedom themselves and due regard, esteem and glory belongs to them. Praise belongs to the many buried cadres, it belongs to the many maimed and injured, and to the many countless who are now forgotten.

Umkhonto we Sizwe anti-aircraft battery

February 2 marks the date of surrender of the racist regime. Before the nation and the world they hoisted a white flag of defeat and capitulation. Why must we praise them for accepting defeat?

A boxer does not give his crown to the opponent that he has defeated. Such a thing only takes place in the world of phantasmagoria.

De Klerk’s speech on February 2 was made out of exasperation, raising the blood pressure of his inner cabals and securocrats. Their nightmarish fears of the ultimate Armageddon were based on unfounded notions of the annihilation of the white race on a scale far greater than the Afrikaners’ killings at Dingaan’s kraal.

The regime was for the first time afraid; it was very afraid and was frantically and desperately in search of an escape hatch.

Heaping praise on De Klerk is sheer profligacy, hypocrisy, silly and selling out. He did not wake up loving Africans any more than he did on February 1, 1990.

That is why he now wants to create an Afrikaners-only university. We owe him nothing.

Regards to FW, for selling whites out ! Typical dumb ass liberal mentality of not seing that it does not matter what you do for these simians, they DO NOT CARE WHO YOU ARE OR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE FOR THEM, SO LONG AS YOU ARE WHITE!!! CAPICE!!

Regards to this goffel piece of commie drek that should be flushed down the toilet like an unwelcomed turd. SADF kicked your asses I bet when they extracted your front teeth half your brains went with it hotnot!

Actual data of losses sustained in the fighting between September 1987 and April 1988 are as follows:

    Cuban/ MPLA combat losses:

    Tanks 94
Armoured troop and combat vehicles 100
    BM21/BM14 MRLs 34
Artillery, rocket and missile systems 15
    MiG21/23 combat aircraft 9
    Helicopteraircrafts 9
    Personnel 4785

    Accounted for South African losses:

    Tanks 3
    Infantry fighting vehicles 5
    Radars 5
    Mirage F1 fighter aircraft 1
    Light reconnaissance aircraft 1
    Personnel 31

If you want to see that as a Cuban victory, then yes…we have lost. HAHAHAHAHA

AAAHHH. The Battle of Ciuto Canavale in Angola when we slaughtered the Communist Cuban scum at the Lomba river and Techipa. We actually call it the Battle of Tumpo.

The Communist MPLA (Angolan forces) and the Cubans marched on the headquarters of UNITA (our ally) at Jamba. The leader of UNITA was Dr. Jonas Savimbi and he asked our help. We stopped the Communists and blew them to pieces. Afterwards the Cuban propaganda machine claimed a “Victory”, because we never took the town of Ciuto Canavale. HAHAHA. Our orders were never to take the town. Our orders were to stop the communist advance on Jamba which we did.

Fidel Castro, had his general and commanding officer, General Ochoa Sanchez executed by firing squad when he returned to Cuba for losing the war. General Rafael Del Pino Diaz, Cuban air force commander in Angola, defected to the United states, because he also faced death for losing the war. But you know how it is. The Communists were so embarresed that a bunch of teenage white boys smashed them to a pulp that they had to claim a victory by any means. Sometimes I can hardly believe what we did there. I was only 18 years old. The year after this epic Communist defeat…. the Berlin wall fell. We defeated the entire Communist world, Cuband Russians, East Germans, MPLA, etc even when we were outnumbered heavily and with world wide sanctions against us. What were the brave PAC/AZAPO fuckers doing. Bursting into the St James Church and shooting unarmed white churchgoers with AK 47’s. Bunch of scum cowards.

  11. Cadnb says:

Wow what a load of contrived BullSh*t? Since 1652? And what we have to replace a working system where all had their space in the sun is better? How?

The Cuban pilots used to drop their payload on their own troops. Smoke mortars dropped between the MPLA lines looked like tank emissions from the air. Because the Cuban/East German pilots knew there were no Cuban tanks in the area they assumed it was SA tanks and bombed the hell out of their own forces. That must have felt like a mighty victory. Like something you shoot the General for?

Now in glorious Mandelatopia we have criminals destroying everything on a biblical scale and Plaatjies is happy to celebrate that? Because like all his contemporaries he is an idiot and deludes himself in spite of the mounting evidence that we are failing a little more every day.

In the press we keep seeing people saying stop pointing at the failures and look at the successes. Does anyone know of just one? I certainly have given up trying to find one.

I just hope people don’t believe the crap he speaks. He clearly feels deprived of the ‘final’ battle they were all promised and never materialised. As for round two? Now that could be fun? All we would need is a little support and a little ignition.

In retrospect we should have fought to the end. Then we would not have to face this kind of misinformed garbage from misinformed idiots.

  12. Boer Seun says:

    @ Juan Uys…

I dunno where those figures come from… But they are accurate. My figures come from my OWN Mark I Eyeball.

I was an artillery observer at Lomba. I saw what happened, and it was a slaughter. The Major in command of the observation post was one Papa Fox seconded to 32Bn from 10 Artillery Brigade with the MRL battery.

We shot the SHIT out of anything that moved that day. A couple of teenagers against some of the best Communist equipment available. The guys were taking out TANKS with infantry combat vehicles. Every one of them a hero!

FUCK YOU!!! No-one died in vain. The history of South Africa has NOT yet finished.

I suggest that you and your cronies, like the useless waste of skin that wrote this crap, ill-informed, racist article crawl back under the rock you crawled from. The blacks in this country were subjugated NOT by the whites but by a TINY minority of police and occasionally the military. There was NO war against them. If you want to see a white/black war in this country, sit tight, it is coming. The ANC is making sure of that. The result may not be what you and the rest of the comrades are expecting.

You see… We are not afraid of you or your numbers and we WILL take you on and we WILL be victorious. There will be no politicians telling us NOT to cross the Lomba, NOT to fire into the crowds, NOT to do everything we can to avoid harming civilians, NOT to treat non combatents as friendly…

When that restraint is gone you will get the STRUGGLE you think you waged against the “whites” and you will finally see what organised violence is. It will make the xenephobia of last year look VERY tame indeed.

    FUCK YOU!!!

    • Grumbleguts says:

I agree. The war is not yet over. My big question about the Border war is this. If the Communists were successful in defeating the SADF, why stop at Cuito? No army stops advancing when they have achieved a victory. They would have advanced into SWA, and then on into SA. Instead, the reverse happened. The commies went home, the Cubans went home, and the kaffirs went back to having each other for lunch, like they have done down the centuries.

      To Cadnd:
…Then we would not have to face this kind of misinformed garbage from misinformed idiots…
I find it highly unlikely that they are this mis-informed. Any person with one brain cell can look at the history of the battle, and see what happened. I think it’s a deliberate ploy to instigate the masses into believing that the ANC won, when in fact they did little, or in most cases, nothing.

As I said before, I still find it strange that General Ochoa was shot for being a big hero in Cuba. Seems the communists shoot heroes.

      • Adrem says:

That’s exactly what it is, pure propaganda for the ones with limited active brain cells who can’t think for themselves and fall conveniently for the liberal moronism in order to counteract – often subconsciously – their ‘White Guilt’ complex.

Boer Seun: Good man, I like your mind set and what you said in this connection!

        • max says:

Fricking right on man, the war is not over it’s about to begin, give me 200 good white South African soldiers and I will show you how we take out any kaffir infantry battalion in the country before they can wipe the shit out of their eyes.

  13. Boer Seun says:

    PS: Poes!

Papa Fox walked out onto the battlefield while the Cubans and whoever else were still trying rescue themselves and counted bodies, trucks and whatever had been blown up.

Once more – JOU MOER MAN!!! Any attempt to label the battle at Lomba a victory for the “forces” of “liberation” is empty and hollow.

The “people” of South Africa NEVER had war waged against them. Don’t try to make out that they did. In one night and day over 4000 men were killed. That is war. What happened in the townships was childs play. You forget who we are and what we can do.

Please don’t give us the excuse to do it.

    • baffeld says:

Ja Boet,I think all the negative f…ers that voice their opinion about the border war never served, they are the cowards that ducked conscription, the liberals that are todays assholes. When the shit hits the fan they will blend in with us and we will never know who they are.

  14. Greyling says:

During the Angolan conlict I was attached to various combat units as an Anti tank specialist from 1989 up until the ANC takeover in 1994. In 1989 I was part of a counter insurgency drive when SWAPO swarmed over the borders (shortly after resolution 435) and we were recalled to relieve the situation as UNTAG couldnt cope and panicked. Most of the ops took place in the Koakaland area and hundreds of terrorists were shot dead as well as dozens of enemy vehicles were shot out. My brother was also active in the area as a ‘Vleisbom’ (parabat) and he recalls exactly the same scenario of an absolute slaughter. Not once was I ever given the impression that anyone of us was afraid or concerned of been beaten in combat by the terrorists. Yes we were teenagers and possibly a little wet behind the ears with regards to life, but one thing is for certain we were excellent soldiers- disciplined, competent, brave, God fearing and prepared to pay the ultimate price for our Poeple back home whom we were protecting from this insurgent satanic force. I cant say the same for them- they were cowards the majority of them anyway. Almost every Russian tank that was shot out during encounters with SADF antitank personal was inpected afterwards for intelligence purposes when possible and in many cases the driver of the tank or armoured BRPM was found to be chained to his steering wheel. Why?? I will tell you why. The 105 antitank cannon and the FT5 recoiless rocket launcher had a subcaliber attached to it (7.62mm). When that subcaliber hit the tank they used to bail out realising that they were about to be blown to kingdom come. This cowardise we used to our great advantage by simply shooting a tank with a single round without having to destroy the entire tank. We would then simply pick off the crew as they abandoned ship. The enemy officers got wise to this and resorted to chaining tthe crews up in the vehicles forcing them to commit to engagements of fire. I use this fact to illustrate firstly the cowardise and secondly the inhumanity of the enemy towards their own, let alone to the civilian poulation which they had terrorised for decades. My brother saw with his own eyes how an entire village had been slaughtered by them and tossed into the water wells. He is still trying to come to terms with it. They were and always will be savages in my eyes with no excuse for the crimes they have committed. I truly believe that Our time will come to once again reaffirm our rightful place in the African sun albeit at the end of a smoking barrel. They the enemy of our poeple ought to be very afraid- I for one am not a teenager anymore, but alot more experienced and just as if not more physically capable than then and there are many of us that would make the likes of you Juan Uys have to answer for your treachery in front of a firing squad. You are a despicable excuse of a human being and an absolute waste of a white skin- if it is indeed white. I am normally a placid and reserved type, but when I read an article that belittles and lies about what the SADF men were about, it puts the fire of hell into my veins. I want to see one new South African soldier keep up with me in the bush and go through the agony that we went through just in our training. There is only one unit that had black soldiers in it that I still respect today and that is 32 battalion who I had the great priviledge of working with on occasion. Sorry for the outburst Guys, but that nonsense about us been cowards really got up my nose.

I wish we could do it all over again, and this time destroy all our enemy’s especially the enemy within. de klerk and company, and many other afrikaner/ english liberals, they gave our land away. I hope you are right about ,,,The history of South Africa has NOT yet finished.” Ek hoop so. How long must we still vassbyt.

  18. Ex SADF says:

I know there were many traitors within, but when I look at de Klerk’s face, hy is so lelik, he has a kind face, the kind you like to kick in. Tell me, am I just dreaming, what is your opinion Boer seun, and others?

The apartheid regime was the most heinous and devious oppressive regime known to mankind.

i.e., more “henious” and “oppressive” than that of Idi Amin or Francisco Macías Nguema or Robert Mugabe? Or the non-regimes of Congo or Somalia or Rwanda?

It shows you the mentality of this kind of African that they would rather live in a lawless despotism or a state of perpetual massacre than acknowledge that black African majority rule leads to the collapse of freedom and civilization.

Anyhow the cause was never just when you think about it.

32BN – by the way – despots and murderers.

    • Greyling says:

You are filthy scum. You wouldnt dare say that to the face of an ex 32 soldier. I wish the moderator would just cut you out of this blog as you have nothing of value to say. 32 BN bled for this country and saved many lives with its heroic actions against the enemy and nothing you or any other homosexual anal protrusion yourself been a prime example will ever change that fact. I would guess your IQ at around 40 (moron).

  22. Thor says:

So tell me something…this Kaffir whore writes…

“The apartheid regime was the most heinous and devious oppressive regime known to mankind.”

So why did 32 BN volunteer to fight on our side, along with the Cape Coloureds and the Bushmen? They were all Blacks who fought voluntarily on our side. Further…Why did us Whites defend Savimbi and his Unita? They were all Blacks? Why did we as whites, fight against Russians, East Germans (Whites) and Cubans (Hispanics) if the war was about colour? We did not fight Blacks. We fought Communist Blacks. We also fought communist whites. The war was against communists.

  23. Boer Seun says:

It is one thing to lose a battle old Juan. I have lost a few. It is another thing entirely to have the biggest single defeat in african history turned into the “greatest victory”. And that by people (or poephols) that were NOT involved at all. The Cubans admit that it was not their finest hour. The FAPLA admit we kicked the SHIT out of them… Who claims the victory, the ANC and the PAC who were not even there.

    Fuck that. Useless bastards!
